Our new fridge - on the refrigerator side - has always worked as advertised.
The ice/water side has been unsatisfactory since its beginning.
The water dispenser stopped flowing soon, even after Home Depot repairs, so we gave up using it. The ice dispenser has worked, in frustrating ways, by freezing up inside, thereby jamming totally - soon afterward.
We'll not risk ever buying another GE appliance, nor ever recommend one to anyone.
